Guernsey has welcomed its first cruise ship call since the autumn of 2019, having banned cruise vessels for the past two years.
12 ships will make their maiden calls in Guernsey this summer
Hanseatic Spirit arrived in St Peter Port on Friday (15 April) to officially mark the return of cruising to the island with passengers greeted by a performance from a local guitar band.
Around 165,000 passengers are expected to disembark in Guernsey across 84 ship calls until the end of October.
Ships due to visit St Peter Port this season including MSC Virtuosa, Jewel of the Seas and Ambassador Cruise Line’s newly launched Ambience.
