The agency announced next month’s prize as it revealed head office recruitment team member Rachel Lovstad had won a £5,000 cruise holiday during August’s draw.

Lovstad, who has worked in the department for almost a year, said: “I can’t believe it, I am over the moon. We have some big birthdays in the family in the next few years so a cruise would be the perfect way to celebrate.”

She is the second winner of the company’s recently launched giveaway competition after Richard Farmer from Hays Wombwell won a new car.

The initiative sees all employees across the business entered into a monthly prize draw.

Dame Irene Hays said: “We’re delighted to be awarding this month’s £5,000 cruise to continue to say thank you to all our colleagues for their hard work.” 

Jane Schumm, Hays retail director, who awarded this month’s prize to Lovstad, said: “It is a great fun thing to do for our people. It’s a bit of excitement during a challenging time in travel.”
