Holiday Taxis Group chief executive, Peter Hilton, has resigned.
Chief executive since April 2010, Hilton, who will remain shareholder, will travel and work on new projects. He said he was happy to be leaving the company in “such great shape”.
He added: “Growing the business from the leading UK supplier into a truly global business has been tremendously rewarding for me.
“The company still has a long way to go and I feel now is the right time to hand it over to the excellent executive team.
“Having been involved with the business since its inception in 2002, I am looking forward to taking some time out and travelling to destinations I haven’t had time to visit during my Holiday Taxis tenure”.
Brendan Breslin, chairman of Holiday Taxis Group, thanked Peter for his efforts in developing the company and wished him every success in his future.
Sir Colin Chandler will take over the post on a temporary basis with immediate effect.
