Hurtigruten has announced three ex-UK sailings of its new 15-day British Isles itinerary next year.
Picturesque Ports, Isolated Islands and Wonderful Wildlife will sail round trip from Dover, with departures on 27 April, 4 July and 1 August.
Calls include Fort William, the Isles of Scilly, Rathlin Island and the Isle of Iona. The itinerary will also offer a range of excursions.
Passenger capacity onboard MS Maud, which will be newly refurbished by the April departure, will be limited to "around 500", with sailings operated according to guidance from the Norwegian government and local authorities in the UK.
Hurtigruten said Maud’s size would allow the line to explore sites and natural landmarks beyond the reach of larger ships.
Ant Daniels, Hurtigruten general manager UK, said: "We’re thrilled to be adding another adventurous itinerary to our existing British Isles departures from Dover in 2021. The changes reflect the significant positive demand we’re experiencing for destinations closer to home.
"Our newly refurbished MS Maud will take guests along the striking British coastline to be closer to nature and wildlife, as well charming small towns beaming with personality. With staycations on the rise, this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to explore expedition cruising – while being close to home."
The itinerary will run as follows: day one, Dover; day two, at sea; day three, Fishguard; day four, Rathlin Island; day five, Isle of Iona and Staffa; day six, St Kilda and Hirta Island; day seven, Stornoway and Lewis; days eight, Fort William; day nine, Islay; day 10, Douglas; day 11, Waterford; day 12, Isles of Scilly; day 13, Fowey; day 14, Portland; day 15, Dover.
