Anthem takes shape
Due to enter service in spring 2015, Anthem of the Seas is still on the factory floor. Sparks fly in the cavernous space as the Meyer-Werft team works on the ship’s body.
Actual size
Cross-sections of the ship offer a reminder of how vast Quantum-class vessels are. Both Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will weigh in at 167,800 tonnes and have capacity for 4,180 passengers.
The almost-finished article
While Anthem takes shape, Quantum of the Seas - due to enter service in November 2014 - was floated out earlier this month. The ship’s inaugural voyage will be an eight-night transatlantic trip, departing from Southampton on November 2.
