Rather than the previously enforced seven-day mandatory quarantine period, fully jabbed arrivals will need to self-monitor for 14-days instead.
Travellers who provide evidence of a course of full vaccination against Covid-19 will also no longer have to take a PCR test to gain entry.
The requirement for a PCR test on the eighth day of arrival has also been removed.
All travellers, regardless of vaccination status, will need to submit a self-declaration form online via the Air Suvidha portal before arrival.
Unvaccinated travellers will still need to provide evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure and undertake a week-long quarantine period on arrival. A PCR test will then be required on the eighth day.
Children will also have to isolate at home for seven days. If they test positive upon arrival in Delhi they will have to undergo institutional quarantine.
Amrit Singh, managing director of TransIndus, said: "We are very excited about the news, and our travellers who have been waiting in the wings for the destination to open have received the news with equal excitement.
"Although almost at the end of the winter travel season we feel we will be able to rescue at least the month of March and April and get TransIndus on a path of recovery."
