Hocking has more than 10 years experience in the industry, holding a variety of sales roles working across Europe, North America and Australia.
He joined the Intrepid Group in 2013 and has quickly progressed through the business, holding a number of different roles including inbound sales manager for Australia and New Zealand, contracting and supplier relations manager for Asia and Pacific, and most recently, general manager of global sales for Intrepid’s operation division PEAK DMC.
His appointment comes three months after Edwards was promoted to chief growth officer and chief purpose officer at Intrepid.
He will spearhead Intrepid’s ambition to become the first billion dollar adventure travel company.
Of Hocking’s appointment, Edwards said: “As the Intrepid Group continues to grow, we are delighted to have Aaron join the EMEA team.
“Aaron has done a great job on the operational side so we are looking forward to him bringing his invaluable experience and enthusiasm over to the Brixton office as we aim to build on the successes of 2017.”
Hocking, who assumed the role on Monday (March 12), added: “I’m excited to make the move to the UK and work with an ambitious team to see Intrepid grow in this region.”
