The country’s ministry of health on Tuesday (31 May) said the restrictions would lapse on Wednesday (1 June).
It means all travellers, regardless of where they started their journey, will no longer have to proof of vaccination against – or having recently recovered from – Covid-19, or evidence of a recent negative test for Covid-19.
Previously, travellers had to provide evidence of completing their primary vaccination in the past nine months, or proof of a recent booster.
The move mirrors that of Cyprus, which made a similar announcement on Tuesday, as well as several other EU nations.
