John and Diane Ashcroft, from Bolton, were boarding a flight to Tenerife from Manchester airport today (18 November) when they were unexpectedly called to the front of the aircraft and greeted by soap stars Sam Aston and Anthony Quinlan.
As John was the 15 millionth Jet2holiday’s Real Package Holiday customer, the Ashcrofts had their holiday fee waived and were given an excursion in Tenerife, champagne for the flight and a private transfer to and from their hotel, where they were upgraded to all-inclusive.
“I’m not kidding when I say it has absolutely made my year,” John said.
