York-based Heritage Collection and Marple Travel in Hyde both scooped a Travel Made Simple marketing campaign from Jet2holidays worth £5,000, while a homeworker for KB Holidays, Northern Ireland’s Limavady Travel and Murray Travel in Elgin each received £1,000 campaigns.
Agencies were tasked with decorating their store windows or social media platforms with Jet2holidays luxury branding, and all five winners also secured a place on an Indulgent Escapes fam trip.
Agents still have chance to enter and win up to £5,000 worth of marketing spend before the competition closes on Sunday (30 January).
Store windows or social media posts should promote luxury holidays from across Jet2holidays’ portfolio and photos and screenshots must be emailed to traderelations@jet2holidays.com
Alan Cross, head of trade at Jet2holidays, said 2022 was “the year of the holiday upgrade” and urged agents to “get proactive” with their marketing in order to capitalise on customer demand.
He said Jet2holidays research showed consumers we looking to “indulge themselves” and spend more on their getaways.
“The opportunity for independent travel agents to sell more luxury holidays to boost sales is huge, so we want to
do everything we can to support agents in doing this,” said Cross.
“With only a few days left to enter, we would encourage our trade agency partners to get creative and get involved in the competition to be in with a chance of winning.”
