The tour operator will hold the one-day Non-Retail Summit for around 200 delegates at its Holiday House headquarters in Leeds on 11 September.
It said the summit would be the “first of its kind in the industry for non-retail travel agents” and showed its commitment to supporting this growing part of the sector.
The event will include presentations, panel sessions and motivational speakers, with the agenda designed to help agents to learn more about Jet2holidays and “generate even more business and drive sales”.
Alan Cross, director of travel agent relationships at Jet2holidays, said the summit was a “real demonstration of our commitment to putting non-retail travel agents and homeworkers at the heart of our Partners2Success strategy”.
“We are looking forward to using the power of partnership to mutually grow our businesses and develop relationships even further,” added Cross. “Non-retail is a critical part of our Partners2Success strategy and this summit will help us drive even more success in collaboration with our partners.”
Cross will be one of the speakers at the summit, alongside general manager of trade sales Lloyd Cross.
The event will feature supplier showcases and panel sessions covering topics such as the latest booking trends and how best to utilise social media. It will be followed by an awards ceremony for non-retail agents at The Queens Hotel in Leeds, alongside a gala dinner.
Agents interested in attending the event, should visit Jet2holidays’ dedicated trade site.
