Submissions have been flooding in for the prestigious accolade, once again being presented at the Travel Industry Awards by TTG in September, with this year’s winner set to receive 12 months of support from Dame Irene Hays and the Hays Travel board

For the first time, finalists will be interviewed face-to-face by Dame Irene and a TTG Media/Hays Travel panel to decide the winner, with this year’s recipient able to take advantage of at least four business advice sessions with members of the Hays Travel board.

The winner will also gain the opportunity to address TTG’s new 30 Under 30 group and be featured across TTG’s magazine and website to promote themselves and their business across the industry.

Entrants must be the founder or co-founder of their business and be able to demonstrate how they have innovatively built their company, have delivered sustainable growth and have set their business up for future success.

Entries for the John Hays Entrepreneur Award will close at midnight on Friday, 9 August and a shortlist of finalists will be selected.

Finalists must be available on 11 September to take part in an in-person judging day at Hays Travel head office in Sunderland, during which finalists will be interviewed by a panel of Hays Travel and TTG judges and a winner chosen.

The winner will then be revealed by Dame Irene and Helen Hays at Magazine London during The Travel Industry Awards by TTG on 26 September.
