Tim Roulston has joined JTA as head of aviation and partnerships, after spending 26 years with Air France-KLM where he held several senior sales positions.

Roulston, who will be based in Glasgow, is tasked with strengthening JTA’s flight operations and building relationships with agencies in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Dave Hood is also joining JTA this month as head of sales and projects, after previously working for Mercury Holidays and Midcounties Co-op. Hood will lead the sales team and focus on expanding relationships with agents.

JTA managing director Wayne Darrock said both new recruits would bring “years of invaluable travel industry experience and relationships”.

“Since the turn of the year, JTA has seen a significant increase in sales with January sales closely in line with 2019,” he added.

“We are a business that always support our agents and supply partners, and with so many exciting opportunities on our horizon for 2022 we are excited about the future of our industry."
