Kuoni is spending a six-figure sum on its peaks campaign as it highlights its partnership with John Lewis.
Head of marketing and digital Steve Seddon said the operator is again using its running on water advert from last year, although it has been updated with a voiceover by television presenter Simon Reeve.
Promotional booklets will be handed out in travel agent partner stores and Kuoni stores as well as being inserted in The Telegraph and The Mail on Sunday while the operator is also looking to increase its SEO potential on Google.
New films are also being placed on its YouTube channel while a My Amazing hub has been set up to give customers an immersive experience when they visit it.
Display advertising has also been booked to further drive the message home.
Seddon said: “The priority for us is to promote all the channel where Kuoni is available. The call to action we promote is first and foremost to the website as a hub, then to the stores and third party agents.”
He added the operator would also seek to further promote its in-house John Lewis stores which continue to grow in number.
“We’ve got to point out we’re in most John Lewis stores and it is letting customers know that,” Seddon said.
“It helps us position ourselves as well. The quality and service that John Lewis is famous for, Kuoni has as well.”
