The pair will join Kuoni’s virtual call centre, a spokesperson confirmed. Bristol city centre customers will be looked after by the team at Kuoni’s John Lewis concession at nearby Cribbs Causeway.
The spokesperson added the business was constantly reviewing its network "to make sure we’ve got the right mix of stores in the right locations", and stressed there were no plans for any further store closures.
"Our Bristol city centre store was one of our original Kuoni stores, but the location wasn’t really working, as footfall was low," they said. "We’ve found roles for the two remaining members of the team – it’s important that we retain skills and talent, so we’re pleased they will be joining our virtual call centre.
"We have a store at Cribbs Causeway [Bristol] within John Lewis which is a really high-performing store, so customers will be looked after by our team there."
They added: "[There are] no further plans to close any stores. We’ve recently opened a store in Aberdeen, and are current relocating Liverpool to a larger premises, all part of making sure we have a thriving and profitable store network."
