The immediate areas of Los Llanos de Aridane, Tazacorte and El Paso, including Cabeza de Vaca, were evacuated on Sunday (19 September).
The eruption has reportedly destroyed around 100 homes and forced thousands of locals and hundreds of tourists to leave the area.
Torres said further evacuations were not anticipated and that no injures had been reported.
The Tenerife Tourist Office also moved to allay fears the situation would impact flights arriving on the neighbouring island.
A spokesperson for the group said: "The islands of La Palma and Tenerife both belong to the Canary Islands archipelago, but are different territories separated by 140km of sea.
"What is happening in La Palma therefore has no impact on Tenerife. There are also no consequences for the air, so the air space and tourist activity have not been affected."
