Luxury expert Laura Simpson, who spent nearly six years at Destinology, brings more than 15 years’ travel industry experience to the role, and will head up Not Just Travel’s operations team.
The team has doubled in size over the past two months, and Simpson will be tasked with steering plans to further extend this over the coming months.
Co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison said Simpson’s team would deliver additional support structures to Not Just Travel homeworkers, and hailed her arrival as the first step in a "huge period of growth and investment".
"Over the next 12 to 24 months, there will be some very exciting things happening at Not Just Travel," they said.
"We are focused on creating more wow moments for our customers. The first stage of this will be hiring the best and developing our amazing team."
Simpson added: "The past two years in our industry have been the toughest we have ever known, but operationally, we have learnt a lot and I believe we are seeing a build-up [of] demand for safe and protected travel in 2022 and beyond.
"Many consumers are now once again looking for that confidence and reassurance of booking with a travel consultant to receive a personalised experience with someone always at the end of the phone for extra peace of mind."
