New direct flights between Inverness and Dublin took off on Friday (27 May), as Loganair relaunched its service between the two cities for the first time since the pandemic.
The new flights will operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and will be timed to link in with onward connections in the Loganair network.
Loganair’s chief commercial officer, Kay Ryan, said: “As consumer confidence builds we can resume more services and launch new routes. It’s always encouraging to recommence routes like this one between Inverness and Dublin, which shows Loganair’s continued commitment to providing domestic and international connectivity for both leisure and business customers.”
Loganair hopes the new flights will give Irish and Scottish holidaymakers access to the cultural attractions of both destinations, encouraging city breaks to visit historic Dublin and getaways to the picturesque Scottish Highlands.
One-way fares are from £74 including 15kg checked baggage allowance and all taxes.
