Tansey, who spent 13 years with Bourne Leisure’s trade sales team, will represent Vertical’s Greece and Cyprus operator, Amathus Holidays, Disneyland Paris specialist brand, Instant Breaks, and in-house accommodation-only supplier Bedbank.com
The role will see Tansey engaging with Vertical’s home-based agents and wider consortium members to boost awareness and sales of its operator offerings.
She joins the business on 4 October.
In a statement announcing he appointment, Vertical said Tansey was renowned for her “experience, energy, enthusiasm” while working with the trade.
Group chief executive Peter Healey said: “Louise is occupying an important role in the group. As a respected and popular person in our industry we are very pleased that she has chosen to join us.
“The next year or two are going to be critical for the industry and Vertical Travel Group’s travel businesses. Louise has much to offer and a lot to do. I have no doubt she will be a great asset.”
