Marella Cruises will return to the Dominican Republic for the first time since 2017 during its 2024/25 winter season.
The line will homeport Marella Explorer 2 in Romana for a series of adult-only sailings from late-December through to mid-March.
Marella will offer three itineraries: Caribbean Classics will visit Grenada, Barbados, Saint Lucia and St Kitts, while Colours of the Caribbean will head to Dominica, Antigua, St Maarten, and Tortola and Samana – a new port for Marella.
Topical Treasures, meanwhile, features calls in Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire.
Marella’s winter 2024/25 itineraries will be available to book from Thursday 20 July, with prices leading in from £1,799pp.
In addition, Marella will also offer two new shorter sailings in the Mediterranean. A four-night Canarian Escape itinerary departing Malaga on 9 December 2024 onboard Marella Explore will call in Gibraltar and Casablanca, while a four-night Stanish Getaway intinerary departing Palma on 2 November 2024 will visit Alicante, Almeria and Malaga.
Other new short cruises include six-night sailings out of Marmaris, Corfu and Malaga.
Chris Hackney, Tui managing director of cruise for UK and Ireland, said: "Customers will be able to explore some of the most popular Caribbean islands throughout their time on board, as well as [have] the opportunity to take advantage of Marella’s cruise and stay offering, with the chance to enjoy a stay at one of the Tui hotels in the Dominican Republic pre- or post-cruise."
