The Hong Kong Tourism Board has appointed a new London-based director for its UK and northern Europe region.

Anette Wendel-Menke will head up strategic direction for the tourist board’s trade relations in the UK, as well as marketing, PR and MICE. Wendel-Menke joined the HKTB in 1999, working her way up to its central Europe director, based in Frankfurt.
"I’m confident we will continue to build off the excellent work of my predecessor to promote Hong Kong as a leading city break destination," said Wendel-Menke.

Kenneth Wong, HKTB regional director Europe, added: "With her extensive experience, and firsthand knowledge of Hong Kong, she will work with the team in London to develop comprehensive strategies to continue to build on the success of our Hello Hong Kong Campaigns."
