Taking place on 3 September onboard Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas in Southampton, the day will offer a range of activities for both parents and children to take part in – such as kids’ clubs, swimming, bumper cars, a surf simulator and a 360-degree observation capsule – as well as provide a networking opportunity and a chance to explore the vessel.
Back in time for Bed is a support network for working parents across the UK travel industry which was launched in February 2023 by Vicky Billing, head of partnerships for Riviera Travel and Anna Perrott, head of supplier relations at Panache Cruises.
"This will be Back in time for Bed’s first major activity to bring together working parents from across the travel industry and build our community," Billing said.
"We are hugely excited to be hosting it with Royal Caribbean and extremely grateful for their support with the initiative."
Ben Bouldin, vice president EMEA of Royal Caribbean, said: "At Royal Caribbean, we’re experts in creating lifelong happy memories for families so, we jumped at the chance to lend our support and our ship to the Back in Time For Bed network and the families of those who work in the travel industry."
The event comes after the network launched its website last month to help those working in the industry juggle parenting with their careers.
