The North African destination initially put the travel ban in place on 29 November until 13 December in response to the emergence of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
The Moroccan government has now extended the suspension of all flights and ferry services to the country until 11:59pm on 31 December.
The FCDO said: “The UK government is not currently planning to arrange any repatriation flights, as some airlines including Air France, Transavia and Royal Air Maroc have been authorised to operate flights out of Morocco to European countries.
“British travellers are strongly advised to check airline websites and to make bookings direct with the airline for flights to Europe and onward connections to the UK.”
UK visitors were originally banned from visiting Morocco in October due to concerns about escalating Covid rates. This ban also applied to travellers from Germany, Netherlands and Russia.
