The traditional pre-flight, pre-breakfast pint has long been a staple for Brits going overseas thank to airports being able to operate outside normal licensing laws.
However, following a large increase in air rage incidents, often involving alcohol, The Times has reported the Home Office is now looking at extending the Licensing Act 2003 to airports.
It would allow councils to license and inspect airside pubs and bars, limit their operating hours and even shut them down.
It comes after the CAA said there were 418 cases of seriously disruptive passengers in 2016, double the number in the previous year.
