Hussey, who joins MSC on 16 May, replaces Carrie Jordan-Dodd, who was promoted to national account manager (south) during the line’s recent sales team restructure.

Having previously worked for Carnival UK as business manager and Norwegian Cruise Line as business development manager, Hussey rejoins the cruise sector having left the industry in summer 2020. 

Steve Williams, MSC’s director of sales UK and Ireland, said he was “thrilled” to have Hussey join his team, adding how his “proven track record in the cruise industry” would make him “a valuable asset”.

“His wealth of experience and knowledge across our sector will prove valuable as we continue to grow our footprint with our high street partners, homeworkers, consortia members and smaller cruise specialists,” said Williams.

Hussey added: “I am thrilled to be rejoining the cruise industry with MSC Cruises. MSC have some really exciting plans for the future and I cannot wait to play a part in supporting our agent partners across the south west and south Wales.”
