The vessel is set to replace MSC Magnifica, which was previously scheduled to serve in the region this winter.
From 30 October, 2021, Bellissima will offer seven-night cruises from Jeddah, calling at Ras Al Abyad, Aqaba for Petra in Jordan, Safaga for Luxor in Egypt and then AlWajh and Yanbu, in Saudi Arabia.
The vessel, which launched in 2019, is fitted with a number of features in a bid to minimise its environmental footprint.
It is equipped with an exhaust gas cleaning system, a wastewater treatment system, smart heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and LED lighting and smart devices to help save energy.
At the end of March 2022, Bellissima will leave the region and reposition to Japan for its planned cruises out of Yokohama from 21 April.
