Sister ship to Disney Wish, which launched in 2022, Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral on 21 December next year, followed by an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
The vessel will feature a design concept based on iconic Disney characters, with spaces based around films such as Aladdin, Coco and Zootopia.
In addition to the return of two Disney Cruise Line restaurant concepts found on Wish, Treasure will introduce new eatery Plaza de Coco, which will be the world’s first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar film Coco.
Like Wish, Treasure is being constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany and will also be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
At approximately 144,000 gross tons, Treasure will be slightly larger than Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
