Red Handling UK said it had been awarded the contract for the airline at Gatwick and added: “The Norse operation is due to start in August of 2022, with planned frequency at two flights per day to the United States.”
Red Handling’s parent company already has a partnership with Norse at New York JFK and Fort Lauderdale, which are thought to be Norse’s first destinations from the UK.
Oslo-based Norse has so far only revealed the launch of services from Norway. These will start on 14 June to JFK, followed by Fort Lauderdale on 18 June, Orlando on 5 July and Los Angeles on 9 August. One-way fares from Oslo to JFK will start at $129.
TTG has asked Norse to confirm an exact date for the UK launch. Gatwick declined to comment.
