The agency, established nine years ago, has branches in Coleraine, Ballymena and Limavady.
Barrhead Travel’s Belfast branch will step in to take over all of its bookings, all of which are financially protected under Abta and Atol licenses.
A Barrhead Travel spokeswoman said: “Weir Travel, based in Northern Ireland is preparing to cease trading.
"The Barrhead Travel in Belfast will step in to service ongoing bookings, providing a seamless experience for the customer."
