Co-founder Steve Witt said he expected Monday (31 January) to break records again after people had been paid, Plan B restrictions had been lifted and confidence was "surging back" into customers.
"People are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel now," he added.
"Confidence is high in travel and customers are eager to make sure they don’t miss out on a chance to get away this year.
"Places are booking up fast due to limited availability – I think people think we’re joking, but it’s really true.
"With spaces being rebooked after Covid, the next few years will be very busy – it’s not a marketing ploy, it’s just a fact."
Travel consultants Isobel and Mark McCardie, from Rock My World Travel, which is a part of Not Just Travel, made almost £4,000 commission in one day and sold more than £30,000 of holidays.
Isobel McCardie said it was "crazy busy" and it felt like "pre-covid levels".
"People are feeling more confident and happy," she continued. "Our biggest sales were to Dubai and Lapland, and our top selling destinations for this year so far are Dubai, Portugal, Mauritius and the US."
