British Airways will introduce a Heathrow-Nuremberg route from 27 March.
Flights will initially operate four times a week, increasing to six a week from 1 May. They will revert to four times a week over winter.
Nuremberg, set on the River Danube, is Bavaria’s second largest city after Munich.
Neil Chernoff, BA’s director of networks and alliances said: “Nuremburg offers something for everyone, ranging from sightseeing in the sunshine to exploring the German markets at Christmas.”
Return fares start from £69 in Euro Traveller and £202 in Club Europe.
