The line has agreed a deal with Vero Water to supply ships with reusable glass bottles and install water stations.

According to Oceania, the move will eliminate use of up to three million plastic bottles a year.

The move comes as part of the line’s OceaniaNEXT fleet-wide enhancement programme and Sail & Sustain initiative.

Implementation of Vero Water’s onboard service will start with Riviera on April 2, followed by Marina (April 19), Regatta (May 1), Sirena (May 19), Nautica (May 30) and finally Insignia (June 19).

This will extend to suites, staterooms, restaurants, lounges and bars.
