The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has created a new webpage with offers from a range of UK operators. Other names involved include Kenwood Travel, Simply St. Lucia Luxury Holidays and Turquoise.
Offers target couples making wedding, honeymoon and anniversary plans, or are just looking for a romantic break for two. The campaign is supported by digital ads and will run for eight weeks alongside social media content and a competition.
Agents can head to the Saint Lucia Expert Facebook page to win a selection of Hotel Chocolat goodies, the island being home to the brand’s Rabot Estate cacao farm.
Patricia Charlery, SLTA director UK and Europe said: “We’ve seen a rise in demand for that special holiday for two in Saint Lucia. It’s the perfect setting with its stunning scenery and unique accommodation."
The STLA said monthly arrivals from the UK were starting to return to pre-pandemic levels, with more than 7,000 UK visitors visiting the island during January.
