Cosmos Tours and Cruises said its booking campaign, which offers a £150 discount per person, had been extended from previous years, running from December 15 until February 28.
It has also launched
a new “price match guarantee” offer, meaning that if an agent finds a cheaper touring holiday from another company, Cosmos will match the price and offer the customer an extra £50 discount.
Early bookers will also be offered low deposits of £75pp on every holiday, as well as no single supplements on a number of worldwide tours and departure dates.
As announced in TTG last week, the operator will also invest around £250,000 in training for agents, offering a fam trip incentive programme for 100 agents.
Meanwhile, Funway Holidays said its peaks campaign would be its largest ever, running across digital media, direct mail in the form of an eight- page brochure, e-marketing and through high street agents.
It will also offer discounts of up to 50% and low holiday deposits of £99. Nick Talbot, head of marketing, said: “January is a critical time for any holiday company, and this year competition for consumers’ attention is going to be keener than ever.”
