Pegasus has relaunched its twice-daily Stansted to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen route, while a Manchester-Istanbul route is now operating five times per week.
The airline will be launching flights between Stansted and Antalya for the winter season. The twice-weekly route will operate from 20 October. There will also be a Stansted-Izmir route operating five times per week from 21 October.
Chief commercial officer Guliz Ozturk said: “In light of the new announcement putting Turkey back into the amber list, we’re seeing strong growth in our bookings to Turkey from England.
“In response to this growing demand and desire for autumn travel, we’re delighted also to be expanding our flight programme from Stansted and Manchester to Turkey.
“We’re planning to further increase the number of our flights from England later in the autumn if demand continues to rise, and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming our guests back onboard as travel begins to reopen again.”
