Herve Bellaiche, chief sales, marketing and communication officer at Ponant, said the line’s bookings for summer 2022 are currently above 80%.
"Our customers are expressing a strong desire to travel," Bellaiche added. "Bookings are steadily coming in again with requests for quotes up compared to 2019 and a higher conversion rate."
The company also reported shorter booking windows and an increase in last minute bookings. Wearing masks is also no longer compulsory indoors or outdoors onboard Ponant ships, but is still recommended.
