UK nationals will now be able to enter Qatar without completing the previously required online registration form.

However, they will need to show proof of vaccination on the NHS Covid Pass and complete an Undertaking and Acknowledgement Form before arriving in Qatar. 

The form is available on the Ministry of Public Health website, on pre-registration platform website ehteraz.gov.qa and via airlines’ online booking platforms. In addition, the Ehteraz mobile app must be downloaded and activated on a mobile device.

These rules also apply to transit passengers.

Qatar Tourism said: "The NHS Covid Pass will be accepted in lieu of the previously required online registration – providing the user meets the immunity criteria reflected in the app.

"For EU and now UK nationals and residents a pre-travel PCR test is optional, though if not taken a Rapid Antigen test must be done within 24 hours of arrival into Qatar instead.

"It remains mandatory to download and activate Qatar’s Ehteraz mobile health application to show a green health status while in Qatar.”
