Members of the RMT Union, which represents a range of rail workers including guards, signalling staff and Network Rail engineering staff, will take action on Saturday (8 October).
As a result of the strikes, Heathrow warned customers that public transport to and from the airport will likely be disrupted for the duration.
A spokesperson said: "Please plan your journey in advance and ensure you leave enough time to get to the airport as roads may be busier than normal."
Heathrow Express tweeted that due to the strike, a limited Heathrow Express and Elizabeth line service would run to and from the airport. "Please plan your journey in advance and consider alternative routes, such as the Piccadilly Line or bus routes.
Elsewhere, a limited service will operate to and from Gatwick station on 8 October. The airport "strongly advised" passengers to avoid public transport and to arrive instead by private transport.
"Only a very limited number of trains will run between Gatwick and London, and Gatwick and Brighton between 7am and 7pm on this day, with no service outside of these hours," a spokesperson said.
Manchester airport, meanwhile, said there would be only a "very limited" service on Saturday (8 October) and customers have been advised not to travel to the airport by rail.
Services are also expected to be affected on Sunday (9 October), especially in the morning. "On 8 October, only travel by rail if necessary and if you do travel, expect severe disruption and plan ahead – especially the first and last trains of the day," the airport warned.
Luton airport asked customers to "only travel if necessary" while Stansted airport advised passengers to avoid Stansted Express services 8 October, warning services would likely be disrupted on 9 October too.
