Rocky Mountaineer is offering one lucky travel agent a two-day adventure onboard Canada’s iconic mountain tourist train.
The giveaway comes after Rocky Mountaineer saw a near 1,000% spike in web hits compared with the same day last year following Michael Portillo’s Great Canadian Railway Journeys BBC2 show on January 24.
During the show, Portillo travelled on the First Passage to the west, the most popular Rocky Mountaineer route.
Now agents can vie to experience the journey for themselves with Rocky Mountaineer’s incentive, with two days onboard the train up for grabs during the 2019 season.
Agents have the chance to win two days GoldLeaf Service on the same route followed by Portillo, or Rocky Mountaineer’s Journey through the Clouds.
The prize also includes station and hotel transfers, two breakfasts and lunches per person onboard and one night’s hotel accommodation in Kamloops.
To enter, agents simply need to make a Rocky Mountaineer vacation package booking by February 28.
Once confirmed, agents should send the booking details and reference to competition@rockmountaineer.com.
A winner will be announced on March 8.
The winning agent must take the trip before the end of the 2019 season. Applicable travel dates will be provided.
