The vessel, which debuts in spring 2024, will be fuelled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and follow Royal’s first LNG-powered vessel, Icon of the Seas, launching in autumn next year.
Utopia’s steel-cutting ceremony was attended by Jason Library, president and chief executive of Royal Caribbean Group and Laurent Castaing, general manager at Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
