The itineraries are based on Explorer of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas. Agents can click through to a digital magazine that will detail the range, which can be added to the seven and nine-night cruises.
A Royal Caribbean spokesperson said the itineraries had previously not been available in the UK and Ireland market: “Agents previously only had access to two of these before, but now we have worked around the logistics of UK flights there is a huge selection that they can choose from.” She added that a printed brochure would be produced later in the year.
Explorer will continue to sail seven-night itineraries from Seattle, with stops in Victoria, British Columbia; Juneau, Alaska and the Inside Passage. Radiance will sail seven-night and nine-night itineraries between Seward, Alaska and Vancouver.
To these sailings can be added the cruise tour itineraries designed to appeal to couples as well as families, extending the total holiday length to up to 13 nights.
They include the Fjord and Tundra national Parks Explorer, with premium tours in the Kenali Fjords and Denali, North America’s highest mountain, at just over 20,000 feet; plus two nights in Fairbanks. There is also a Family Tundra Express cruise tour and a one-night add-on to Denali.
Alaska cruise prices start at £608pp based on two sharing an inside cabin on the Northbound Alaska & Hubbard Glacier itinerary in May 2018.
