Saga’s newest river cruise ship, Spirit of the Rhine, has departed on its inaugural sailing.
The vessel left Trier in Germany on Wednesday (22 September) to embark on a 13-night roundtrip voyage calling at Bernkastel, Traben-Trarbach and Piesport.
Amenities onboard include a lounge, bar, library, fitness area, sun deck, alfresco barbecue and two restaurants.
Chief of Saga Holidays, Chris Simmonds, said the ship was designed "with our customers in mind".

A seven-night "castles and vineyards of the Rhine" cruise from Switzerland into Germany and Breisach departs between October 2021 and October 2022. Prices start from £1,099pp.
