The Saudi Arabian government has extended its visa on arrival scheme to UK, US and EU residents who hold an eligible passport.
Under the new regulations, arrivals from the UK, US and EU can now get their visa on arrival, while residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can apply for electronic tourist visas.
Fahd Hamidaddin, chief executive and board member at Saudi Tourism Authority, welcomed the facilitation of a tourist visa for GCC residents and the visa on arrival extension.
Saudi tourism eVisas are now available to citizens of 49 countries.
