Scenic to host up to 100 agents onboard Eclipse II in 2023

The Scenic Group has announced plans to host between 50 and 100 agents onboard upcoming ship Scenic Eclipse II in a number of UK ports later this year.

Speaking to TTG, recently appointed managing director Richard Twynam outlined the line’s trade engagement plans for 2023, including a number of opportunities for agents to get onboard the company’s ocean, river and expedition ships.

On 3 June, Scenic will christen Eclipse II ahead of the launch Emerald Sakara towards the end of August – both of which Twynam is keen to share more about with the trade.

"Those launches are hugely exciting for us, and there’s lots that we’ll be telling agents about through education and training initiatives," he said.

Eclipse II will then arrive in the Isles of Scilly on 13 June – before sailing to the Isle of White on 14 June – ahead of a domestic itinerary calling in Plymouth, Dublin, Belfast and Scotland.

"We’ll be taking agents to all of those places," Twynam added. "We are also trying to host as many fam trips as possible on both our river and ocean vessels, and we will be at the Clia River Conference in March."
