If you think you’ve got what it takes to join TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies programme, there is just one more week to register.
More than 300 agencies and branches have already registered to take part in TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative – held in association with Emirates – which will see the best agencies in the UK and Ireland honoured in an influential new power list.
Agents are invited to register in one of 10 regional high street categories or one of six nationwide categories, by the deadline of January 29.
TTG editor Pippa Jacks said: “The level of interest we’ve had from agents, and the calibre of those who have entered, has been truly overwhelming.
“But if you think your store or agency is one of the best in the business, you still have one more week to come onboard. And it couldn’t be easier to enter – just tell us that you’d like to be considered, then leave the rest to us”.
After the registration period closes, a unique rating system will see a comprehensive list of suppliers rate agencies to create shortlists in each category. TTG journalists and a supplier partner will then visit the 50 high street stores that make the shortlists, to discover what makes that store stand out against the rest. The shortlisted nationwide agencies will also be profiled by the TTG journalist team.
“We know that high street travel agencies in the UK and Ireland deliver some of the best customer service possible, and we can’t wait to get out on the road and see what makes those agencies tick,” said Jacks.
Agencies that earn first, second and third place on each of the 16 shortlists will join the exclusive TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies list, earning recognition not only within the travel trade but also in a way which is meaningful to customers.
The list will be announced at a new ceremony taking place in Birmingham on April 25, where agents will join supplier sponsors including Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai; Attraction World; Belleair; Efteling; Holiday Extras; If Only; One&Only Resorts; Riviera Travel; Jet2holidays; and Royal Caribbean. A brochure profiling each of the agencies that makes the list will be distributed with TTG, and made available as a digital magazine. The Top 50 agencies will also be profiled on ttgtop50.com, and window stickers and digital logos will be provided.
Join us for a glamorous black-tie awards ceremony on April 25, 2016 at the cutting-edge Vox Centre at Resorts World Birmingham, where guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, top entertainment and plenty of surprises.
Every shortlisted store or agency will receive one complimentary ticket. Further tickets are available to agents at £95+VAT. Suppliers are also invited to purchase tickets, at £175+VAT.
The Vox Centre is at Birmingham International airport (which also has a National Rail station) and there are three hotels of differing price brackets within walking distance.
