The luxury line will reward agents with double kicker commission points on all new expedition voyages booked in June. A new series of trade webinars, meanwhile, will get under way on Thursday (8 June), led by Silversea’s expedition team.

The first, starting at 7pm BST on Thursday, will be helmed by senior vice-president of expeditions, destination and itinerary management, Conrad Combrink, and will focus on Antarctica.

The Arctic will be the focus of Silversea’s second trade webinar on Thursday 15 June (from 6pm BST) and will see managing director UK and Ireland, Peter Shanks, and senior director of expedition field staff and operations, Daniil Elterman, present to agents.

Shanks and Elterman will team up again for the third and final webinar in the series, which will be held on Thursday 22 June (again, from 6pm BST) focusing on the Galapagos.

June is also Silversea’s travel agent appreciation month; agents confirming new expedition cruise bookings during June will automatically be entered into a weekly prize draw to win a gift card.

Silversea said the incentive and the prize draw was its way of "recognising and rewarding the trade", which it said was the line’s "most important sales channel".

Silversea currently offers 95 expedition cruises to the Arctic, Antarctica, the Galapagos Islands and Australia’s Kimberley region.
