David Conitzer becomes trade sales specialist, moving from his current role as sales consultant. Conitzer has been at Simpson Travel since September 2019 and in the industry for nearly 10 years, including a spell with Club Med.
He joins his brother Daniel, Simpson’s trade sales executive, in the operator’s trade sales team under Hannah Naylor Vane, head of trade sales.
Naylor Vane said: “We are delighted to welcome David to the trade team. As a family business, it is quite appropriate that he will be joining his brother. We are seeing greatly increased interest from agents in our villas and boutique hotels, so it’s fantastic to be expanding the team.
“David brings with him excellent product and destination knowledge having visited the majority of our Simpson destinations.”
Naylor Vane said the dedicated trade sales line (020 4586 7076) was introduced following growing demand from agents.
Simpson Travel began increasing its trade focus last year, promising 10% commission and training plus an agent-facing brochure. The operator plans to double the number of trade bookings by 2025.
