Chief executive Radha Vyas on Monday (23 October) confirmed the new investment will support the development of the brand’s tech and its plans to expand further into new territories.
Flash Pack is gearing up grow its North American business early next year where it claims its audience share has grown to 60% over the past two years.
The brand was relaunched in November 2021, a year after going into administration due to the impact of the Covid pandemic on travel. It confirmed in August it was ready to start working with agents for the first time through a new B2B partner scheme.
“Solo travel has continued to grow in popularity as people look to expand their horizons and make up for lost time, but in the last two years, we have also seen an increased appetite for building meaningful connections through travel,” Vyas said.
“The recent investment indicates the value in this growing trend and we’re incredibly excited to continue this success worldwide.”
The £5 million investment was led by JamJar, a consumer venture capital founded by the people behind Innocent smoothies. This has brought the total raised by Flash Pack to £7.8 million.
