EasyJet said twice-weekly services to southern Spain would resume on 29 October, operating on Thursdays and Sundays all year-round. Fares lead in from £22.99pp and are on sale now.
Alicante will become easyJet’s seventh destination served from Southend, sitting in its schedule alongside Amsterdam, Faro, Geneva, Malaga, Palma and Paris. EasyJet previously operated Southend’s Alicante route for more than eight years between April 2012 and August 2020.

It comes after easyJet on Tuesday (22 August) confirmed it would launch flights to Cairo this winter from Luton. The route will take off on 31 October.
