The Spanish Tourist Office in the UK has confirmed a range of topics and speakers for the event in London on Wednesday 26 April, co-sponsored by Turismo Lanzarote and the Menorca Tourism Board.
Speakers include Abta’s sustainability manager Susan Deer, easyJet holidays director of customer and operations Matt Callaghan, and Intrepid Travel’s UK general manager Hazel McGuire.
Delegates will also be addressed by two keynote speakers; Pura Aventura co-founder and chief executive Thomas Power, and Pedro Saura, president of Spanish hotel group Paradores.
The chosen topics for the day aim to confront genuine issues of sustainability across the sector, from decarbonisation to the social aspects of sustainability, sustainable transportation and waste management," said Manuel Butler, director of the Spanish Tourist Office in the UK.
"Our speakers and panellists bring a wealth of different experiences to the event, so I am excited to see the productive discussions which will take place."
